Drink this way

I know you’ve all been wondering: If Lady Gaga didn’t drink wine, at least not publicly, on her recent visit to California wine country, what did she have by way of libations?

According to the Wine Spectator, the international pop star sipped on a Fig Kiss during her visit to the Girl and the Fig restaurant in Sonoma County. Which is still drinking local, since the menu indicates that drink is made with FigCello di Sonoma, a specialty spirit produced by the Sonoma Valley based micro-distillery, HelloCello.

The people behind HelloCello, , have sent around the recipe for anyone looking to emulate the Lady.

  • 1 ounce FigCello di Sonoma
  • 2.5 ounces cranberry juice
  • 0.5 oz elderflower liqueur

HelloCello also makes limoncello and other spirits and bills itself as “the spirited side of wine country!” Can’t argue with that.

Now I just have to get “P-p-p-poker face” out of my head.

Cheers.
